that looks perfect!
ahhh as i said
That looks great now.
Wooow just palying around a bit, a 60cm Dish and a Bullseye standing in my Open Window, what a huge Signal! The Sat over here in Europe really seems Strong, very good!
I little change setting. Only one things, i can not see the weather info. Maybe i do something wrong.
I don’t think so. I’m not getting any weather updates here in Washington, DC on SES-2. My last update was 9 Feb 2021, and it hasn’t changed at all since then. Ken
same here (EU), grib-files in grib2-directory are all zero-byte, and current-weather-files are from today and 181KiB to 1.1 MiB in size. But the globe shows last weather from 11 Feb

my DC 3.05
Hi, Manuel. I have a couple of questions pertinent to the Othernet Status page: can it be made to refresh automatically like the old one did?, and, it appears to not be reporting accurately. I have not seen a PER above zero while watching my Skylark program, but it shows a PER of 34. I have not seen that before, and the percentage is 100%…
Thanks. Jerry
The data comes from Your Dreamcatcher, so it could be that the long term Statistics that get reported to the Statuspage still report 34 Err Packets. Automatic Refresh could be an option, but hitting F5 every 5min (thats the interval your DC reports to othernet) isn’t to bad i think
Yes, that would not be too bad. However, that doesn’t track with what it is reporting.
Sorry about this being broken. It will get worked on later this week.
Weather should be working. Please confirm. @caveman99 @wsombeck @kenbarbi @Ritzenhoff
works! Thank you, Wolfgang
Weather coming in onSES-2 fine
Here’s the current broadcast - - I’m looking at it at 1115 local EDT on 30 Mar. Ken
same here. working. grib files are still 0 byte though. thanks
It took some effort, but I’m back online again
. Located in the center of the Netherlands. Using a bare Bullseye, outside. I think it was of matter of RTFM, because I lost some time using the wrong frequency (the frequency suggested in the fabulous fine-tune tool was not correct).
Happy now!!
Greets Joris
UPDATE: also a life hack ==> I downloaded the fabulous tuner app in a folder I created in the download section (not on a separate sd card). It remains there, even after a reboot.
It is the ‘Fine Tune’ folder
Custom Satellite Must be Selected for Tuning
I’ve fielded a number of questions off the Forum about tuning the Dreamcatcher, and want to point out that you must operate in the Custom Satellite setting to set up your Dreamcatcher on the new satellite Frequencies and Beam Types. If you use @Tysonpower’s Tuner App & Frequency Finder APP and click the Save to DC3, those new settings for the Americas and EU satellites only remain in effect as long as you don’t reboot your Dreamcatcher. A reboot returns the satellite values to their previous default settings. Ken
