Unfortunately, not yet. The virtual machine is the best we have for right now, though it is on the todo list.

I’d like to see Docker support added to the todo list. This would make it easier to use cheap, repurposed Andorid TV boxes running Linux…

maybe a snap app for this would be more effective. I"ve been testing mesh wifi services and I keep coming back to this to see if you’ve stopped hopping around on hardware and settled on a simple device or software collection to do all this with Linux and Windows machines (even in a VM).
Is the virtual image work still ongoing or has it been dropped? the link doesn’t go to the archive.
