Is it posssible to get root access on Outernet Lighthouse? Port for ssh (22) seems to be closed. What can be done?
Also, can using a serial cable help? If yes, please tell how.
Thanks

The port is not closed. You can initiate SSH over wifi: outernet@
@Syed It was closed on this pariticular unit. We sorted that out.
How is that possible? Was it a particularly old firmware version? I’ve never run into a problem where SSH did not work; not since pre-0.6, at least.
My best guess is that the device was power cycled while the SSH keys were being generated or something along those lines. I see no traces of storage corruption and similar factors that would make the host keys inaccessible.
