There is a new image at archive.outernet.is. It is almost exactly like the old one, with two important differences. The image when extracted is 1.5G instead of 4G, so you should be able to use it on most microSD cards. The second difference is the HostAPD configuration. It was revised to not declare the driver and to be an open access point. You can find the image here. The new configuration for those who may want it but don’t need to reflash (from /etc/hostapd/hostapd.conf):
