what type of connections will be DNS or LAN or modem ?
it will be via device or program?

As it stands now, it will probably be a device. We are testing one possible setup right now using off-the-shelf hardware and open-source software, and will publish instructions on how to replicate that setup this fall, maybe even this summer.
