Time table for Outernet service to South East Asia / Philippines

Hi,

is AsiaSat 5 C-band working? I am going to the Philippines soon, and perhaps it is possible to test signal strength.

We have discontinued C-band, but L-band is available over the Philippines. C-band requires a 1-meter dish (at minimum), whereas L-band is received on a 10-cm antenna. Eventually the antenna will be even smaller.

It is not. Only Ku band over the US and Europe now.
